About the Role

Duration � from 6 to 15 months Principal Job Role The principal role of the jobholder is to work with other developers and in conjunction with the Business Analysts to configure COTS application TRIPS� and develop additional client requested functionality and interfaces. The requirements will be developed and documented by business analysts. The system is web based using Java, Object Oriented Programming, Oracle database, Enterprise Architect and Jaspersoft. Expected Outcome Code developed to a consistent and high standard that meets the timescales of the project plan Main Duties To work closely with Business Analysts to understand and interpret clients requirements; To develop code according to specifications and house-style To undertake first level unit testing and to work closely with the Crown Agent�s Test Unit and Quality Assurance department; To produce clear, comprehensive documentation of the code; To provide detailed help and advice to Technical Authors; Ensure tasks are completed within the timeframe defined by the project plan. Reporting Procedures The Developer will report directly to the Team Leader/Project Manager.
