this is a page title SENIOR NOVELL AND MAIL SPECIALIST Location: Pretoria Position type: Permanent Salary: R45000 - R60000 per month CTC RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: Product expertise with Identity Manager, Novell OES, eDirectory and Zenworks Experience with GroupWise and Microsoft Active Directory a plus Performance monitoring and system tuning of the Novell Enterprise environment maximise system performance and reliability Configuring the interaction between external systems, including the authentication servers and asset management tools Enabling Customer, User, Request and System Privileges Working with Novell NetWare software: Netware, Zenworks, IDM, Novell mail, Ifolder, eDirectory, Vibe Experience with eDirectory and/or other directory products such as Active Directory Background in administering and troubleshooting Linux Form strong business relationships at various levels throughout the organization Be available 24x7, primarily 5x12 for all issues and 24x7 for critical issues Pro-actively identify issues by becoming familiar with the technical and business environment while providing recommendations for resolution to these issues QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED FOR THE POSITION: Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field or equivalent experience required A Certified Novell Administrator (CNA) certification or equivalent experience required EXPERIENCE REQUIRED FOR THE POSITION: 10 years administration and troubleshooting experience in Novell Enterprise Management. 5 years of working experience with the Identity, Access, Governance, and Security Experience with Novell Products, Groupwise, Novell services, Novell Vibe, Novell File Experience with Novell Identity Manager is preferred Experience with Novell integration tools
