this is a page title INFRASTRUCTURE ENTERPRISE SOLUTION ARCHITECT Location: Pretoria Position type: Permanent Salary: R45000 - R60000 per month CTC RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: The role of the enterprise solution architect (ESA) addresses the conceptual/planning level of the application architecture in collaboration focused on the needs of the technology, business and information architectures Be able to model business operations and the systems and databases that support them System Architect must be able to build architectures using various frameworks including TOGAF, DoDAF, MODAF and NAF Design a breakdown of the system components, how these components interact together, and generally what technologies they employ Review, develop and maintain the organisations IT architecture Review and evaluate the current state of the organisations architecture (as-is) in order to identify duplications , what is working, what is not working and measure the health of key business processes that are supported by the current architecture Build the transition architecture to connect the current to the future state by creating an iterative roadmap to get to the desired state Recommend and provide changes to the business in easily digestible iterative changes Interface with multiple stakeholders in a company in order to understand requirements, domain, viable technology, and development Determining multiple design alternatives, assessing such alternatives based on given or self-defined criteria, and selecting the most suited option to refine to a final design Work in liaison with business stakeholders to develop Business Architecture Roadmaps containing tactical and strategic initiatives to reach target business capabilities Identify and resolve dependencies and impacts across the architecture landscape Interfacing with the user(s) and sponsor(s) and all other stakeholders in order to determine their (evolving) needs QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED FOR THE POSITION: Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Equivalent experience required TOGAF certification EXPERIENCE REQUIRED FOR THE POSITION: 10 years experience in a related field 5 years experience in an Enterprise/Solution Architect role Knowledge of the relevant Information Technology governance and legislative framework (such as COBIT, ITIL, TOGAF, SDLC, ASAP, SOA) COMPETENCIES REQUIRED FOR THE POSITION: Analytical thinking Negotiation Organisational alertness Leadership Driven to make a difference Drives accountability and is a high performer Fosters teamwork and collaboration Business acumen Role models customer focus and customer service Innovative Quality focused Confident – with hands on, can- do approach Excellent time management and organizational skills High attention to detail, self-motivated, creative and flexible A good problem solver
