IT Specialist - Maintenance and Support

About the Role

RESPONSIBILITIES: In your role as IT Specialist-Maintenance and Support (m/f) you will be responsible for the maintenance and support of the SAP BW OtO Data Warehouse currently running on Version 7.3. You will contribute to the deployment of new systems/functionalities needed in our OtO Data Warehouse. Further will you responsible for the coordination of the technical implementation as well as the definition and execution of test cases. Your technical background will enable you to understand the complexity of the existing solutions in place. Besides good data modeling knowledge of SAP Business Warehouse 7.3 you should be able to read and evaluate ABAP-OO source code. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Support and maintenance of the existing SAP BW solution in coordination with external and internal partners of Company headquarters in Munich Evaluate ABAP-OO source code Define and execute test cases Ensure documentation is created, maintained and accurate Ensure that best practices are followed during systems design and build QUALIFICATION: University degree in Information Technology, Business Informatics, Engineering or a comparable qualification. Profound work experience in Information Technology, preferably in an international environment. Project management experience in maintenance and support Proven knowledge of SAP BI 7.3 especially in the field of Data modeling and ABAP-OO Good knowledge of ETL preferable with Informatica / Oracle Sales Process knowledge in the automotive sector is a plus English business fluent German is a plus but not necessary. Team and communication skills. Structured approach to work. Service-oriented. Analytical skills. Interest in working in an international environment.
