About the Role

Job purpose: Assisting with problem resolution and ongoing improvements. Ensure that technical architecture, application, database, configuration, integration and performance design principles and standards for relevant applications are documented, adhered and improved. Responsible for upgrades, technical testing, configurations, key management and adherence to secure user access standards. Be responsible for business plan approval and all internal and external coordination of card systems is supposed to have higher education in economics, banking or finances, should understand the basic principles of data processing and computers. Find workable solutions to Visa technology needs of the company. Specifying user requirements and functional requirements. Application integration of 5 card systems (Tieto, Bell ID, Cr2, Visa, FCUBS and Collis) Chip card technology troubleshooting and applying EMV tag specification for the company Chip profiles Template for Visa application. Implement card issuing and acquiring for Debit, Credit and Prepaid cards for the company in all regions (Botswana, Tanzania, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Mozambique) Manage vendor code review Configurations Data scripts and new or changed maintenance aspects. Requirements: Relevant banking experience in the Payment and Card industry. A minimum of a Bachelor Honours degree in Information System or any other IT related degree. Minimum of 7 years experience in data processing and information system administration. Oracle Certification for card applications troubleshooting A certificate in Smart Card technology is highly recommended Principal Accountabilities: SME in card management domain. Managing the aspects of PMO in terms of card systems. Ensuring the cards system architecture.
