About the Role

Primary responsibilities: Recognize the needs of the customer and provide detailed information to the customer about the technical specifications of the computer hardware, software and services offered by the company. Advises customers on technical matters and recommends appropriate computer configurations. Stay abreast of market trends. Investigate new items and makes recommendations for purchasing products. Serve as a customer service rep for customers who have questions or difficulties with products and services sold by the company. Ensure quality of service by developing a thorough and detailed knowledge of technical specifications and other features of our systems and processes. Maintain awareness and keep abreast of constantly changing software, hardware systems and peripherals. Job Requirements: Be well groomed. Ability to understand the needs of the clients urgently in order to achieve optimum service. Ability to be able to learn and update your knowledge of the IT industry. Ability to master the range of all the product specifications and how to sell all the products and services offered by our company. Strong selling and communication skills. Previous experience in a similar IT position is essential Minimum qualifications: Matric (Grade 12) Vendor ESSN hardware product sales certifications (Dell, HP & Cisco) Software Sales Certifications will be an advantage (Microsoft, Adobe, VMware..etc) CompTia Certification A+ , N+ (Preferable) Certificate in Information Technology (an advantage) Diploma in Information Technology (an advantage) Minimum experience required: 2 Years IT hardware and software sales experience. Proven Sales Track Record with references. Salary package: Basic Salary - Negotiable based on experience & Proven sales track record Travel Allowance Petrol Allowance Cell Phone Allowance Commission based on 80/120 rule
