IT FIELD TECHNICIAN JOB SPEC Introduction A well established IT Company based in Bryanston is seeking a IT Field Technician. The candidate must be a passionate, hardworking and dynamic individual that can perform well under pressure and is able to work well within a Team and on their own. Minimum requirements - Grade 12 - Must have a drivers and own vehicle - Windows XP - Windows Vista/ 7 - Microsoft Office Suites Salary R 9 000.00 to R 10 000.00 dependant on candidates experience Desirable requirements - Qualified N+ - MCSE - Qualified A+ - Qualified CCNA - HP ASE - Citrix Certified Administrator Job Spec - Attending to logged calls, resolving them within SLA time frame. - Daily Check of clients that have Backup SLAs, ensuring their backups are successful, and resolution of any failures. - Assisting with new server rollouts, and upgrades, possibly requiring overtime. - Performing standby duties on rotation basis with other technicians, requiring 24 x 7 availability during this one week period. - Documentation of the SLA clients Network and all changes made.
