Job Description:
Job Purpose

Run End of Day for the countries, Tanzania, Botswana and Zambia.

Sending daily EOD updates for five countries (Tanzania, Botswana, Zambia, Mozambique and Zimbabwe) to senior management.

Monitoring ATMs for all five countries, ATM transactions and network

Logging, updating and closing incidents.

Ability to communicate a deep understanding of the business and a broad knowledge of technology and applications.

Job requires operator to work in the evenings / night during the week and over weekends (Saturdays).

To ensure and escalate if there are problems with EOD.

Provide inputs into processes to ensure improvement of EOD operations or other batch processes at night.

Solid understanding of call logging systems and how calls should be logged, allocated and closed.

Comprehensive technical knowledge in the IT environment, relating to the applications, architecture and methodologies utilised within the bank.

Support senior technical resources and ensure EOD and Batch runs complete regardless of how long it takes.

Regular, pro-active communication to direct reports, team members as well as to the broader community within the bank regarding progress, outcomes, issues and risk relating to this job profile.

Knowledge and Experience:

Minimum - Diploma in Information Technology (3 year course).
Solid understanding of customer service.
ITIL foundation not compulsory but will secure.
One year experience with FCC/UBS running EOD, Monitoring ATMs, Logging calls, updating calls, assigning and closing incidents.
Knowledge in application management
Experience in retail banking and understanding of core systems and connectivity.
