Job Description:

Position Purpose

Be a part of a Business Transformation Team working with a Financial

Services Industry Leader on highly visible projects solving end-to-end

business process challenges and creating a world-class UX for both current

and prospective users of company s unique range of products and

services.

Experience and Qualifications

• Bachelor s Degree or equivalent required, preferably in an IT, Psychology

or HCI related field

• Minimum 3 years in a similar role

• Interaction Design and UCD  User Centred Design  training and experience

required

• 5+ years of UX Analysis and research for Web, Mobile and Enterprise

Software applications

• Must have experience with requirements analysis, interacting with business

users to define clear scope and assemble and manage proper crossfunctional

teams

• Experience in an Agile SDLC environment is strongly preferred

• Experience in Enterprise Hardware Technology a plus

The Incumbent will be responsible for:

• Experience with Axure Prototyping tool a major plus

• Experience with Visio and Powerpoint a plus

• Strong knowledge in best practices for Web-based Information,

Architecture and Design, as well as strong knowledge of usability principles

and techniques

• Strong knowledge of Prototyping Methodologies and tools

• Strong technical writing skills a major plus

• Strong verbal communication skills

• Strong analytical and problem solving skills required, including a thorough

understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate

them into technical and operational design requirements.

• Familiarity with the technical considerations needed when designing for

dynamic

• HTML5orCSS3orjQuery web applications

• Familiarity with Task Flow diagramming

• Ability to create illustrations for Stylized Graphic Artwork and icons is a

plus

• Ability to develop and deliver presentations to various audiences from

application end users to clients and internal senior leadership

• Proven leadership skills and Project Management Skills.

• Ability to read communication styles of team members and clients who

come from a broad spectrum of disciplines

• Ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative

environment

• Ability to travel  up to 5%

• Strong user centred design skills and experience on Mobile Application

Designs would be an advantage

The applicant should meet these requirements:

• Effective and consistent service delivery and support to all internal clients

• Work as a member of the User Experience Team to document the UI

specification and wireframes for an enterprise quote to invoice application

• Elicit system requirements using interviews, document analysis,

requirements workshops, surveys, site visits, business process

descriptions, use cases, scenarios, task and workflow analysis

• Translate business requirements into a Visual Design specification

document and Prototype Solutions with the Axure Prototyping tool  or

similar e.g. Visio or Omnigraffle

• Promote usability best practices and conduct usability tests and research

• Establish and maintain clear scope boundaries for the solution

• Represent the User Experience Team in client meetings regarding new

business initiatives andoror changes

• Other duties may be assigned based on company needs

• Design the interface, interaction flow and key UX decisions for cross-device

and cross-platform solutions

• Develop conceptual diagrams, wireframes, prototypes, and visual

mockups.

• Develop and maintain detailed user-interface specifications

• Build upon and expand established style guides and UI patterns

• Collaborate with resources to ensure all design requirements adequately

reflect the defined business processes and fully support all components of

the functional business requirements

• Analyze methodologies for process improvements, better utilization of

resources, product enhancements, improved communications and faster

issue resolution

• Manage own performance and development

• Performance Contract in place
