Job Description:
Functional specialists in Fixed Assets, iProcurement, iExpenses, iSupplier, Inventory, Accounts Payable, Purchasing, Accounts Receivables FA/PROC/EXP/SUP/INV/AP/AR

Reporting Structure


Purpose

The incumbent will be involved with the implementation and ongoing maintenance of the applicable Oracle Module and will be required to provide 2nd line support for this Module. The modules are Leave, Payroll, Core, Self Service, iRecruitment, Compensation Workbench and Performance Management.


Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and enhance the relevant Oracle Module across the FRG Group

  • Provide 2nd line functional support for the relevant Oracle Module

  • Provide 1st level technical support on the relevant Oracle Modules

  • Extract and analyse data against business rules, policy and formulae

  • Conduct market research on client needs, competitor analysis, sector and industry analysis, and global trend analysis to support new product development projects

  • Conduct client focus groups including work study analysis in order to derive a clear understanding of client user needs and requirements

  • Ensure Internal and External sign-off of all system changes, particularly as they apply to legislative compliance

  • Apply specific Oracle Module system knowledge in the configuration of the applications

  • Have a good understanding of customer needs and be responsive to customer requirements

  • Communication and networking with multiple business units throughout the organisation

  • Operational workflow analysis and design of business processes (business process modelling) that support new products and functionalities implemented

  • Compilation of business requirement specification and functional specification documents that is used by System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) role-players in the coding, testing and implementation of new products and functionalities

  • Undertake unit test of relevant modules

  • Assistance to Oracle technical developers and prepare product documentation

  • Participation in creation and ownership of project plans and project management to meet project target dates and milestones

  • New feature pilot support

  • Participation in conduct of project Post Implementation Reviews (PIRs)

  • Assist with training and presentations on relevant Oracle Modules

  • Communication and networking with multiple business units throughout the organisation



Education and Experience Requirements

  • Minimum: NQF 5 (Matric plus a 1 -2 year diploma)

  • Preferred: Degree.

  • Relevant Oracle Module Knowledge (the modules are Leave, Payroll, Core, Self-Service, iRecruitment, Compensation Workbench and/or Performance Management

  • Broad Oracle application knowledge

  • Understanding and experience with Oracle Business processes
